 Councils advice:

The sections and elevations show alternate awning options.

 Our concern is the ease of access onto the roof particularly if solar panels are placed there.  Also thieves enter buildings through roofs at times in our experience.

 The length of awning is shown at various lengths and at this time is open for discussion but will ultimately be governed by engineering and cost constraints.

 I will need to discuss financing of these works with you as Council will not necessarily be able to fund the whole exercise.

 To progress this matter, please review the drawings with your club members and officials to gather their input to this process.

Then contact me with feedback and organise a time for a face to face meeting to discuss the plans.

A redraw and estimates will probably then be required with final concept sign off from you.

Then there are the money discussions.

From there we will determine how to proceed to engineering design, approvals and construction.
