Nail-biting finishes, spectacular passes and goals combined with fast feet and quick reflexes makes Netball one of the fastest growing sports to watch and play in Australia.

Netball is not just about being active; the better you get at it, the more you have to play smart and use tactics - so much fun. Every position is important and, to win, netball must be played as a team.

Netball helps develop life skills – leadership, time management, social interaction.

The Murwillumbah Netball Association (the Association) organizes the sport of Netball in Murwillumbah, The Association is a part of Golden South Netball Region within Netball Queensland. Netball is a major sport, and an estimated 1.2 million Australians played the game in 2003.  It is currently the largest female participation sport in Queensland with a registered membership of 37,000 people.

The Association wants netball to continue to be a vibrant component in the local community.
